It’s Better Up There

In 2154, class is separated by two distinct worlds: the uber wealthy, who reside on a pristine, highly advanced terraformed space station named Elysium, while the less fortunate majority of the population live in dire poverty on the edge of starvation, with minimal technology and medical care on a barren over populated waste land that is Earth. Secretary of Defense, Jessica Delacourt (Jodie Foster) leads and monitors Elysium’s security apparatus. She will do what ever is necessary and will stop at nothing to preserve Elysiums position with a ruthless and unforgiving approach towards earths citizens. Max Da Costa (Matt Damon) a former car thief on parole lives in the ruins of what is Los Angeles. After a sequence of events Max agrees to take on a risky life threatening mission that could bring equality and a fair chance to the people in these polarized worlds.
